DBCAA Board of Directors Laurel County Low-Income Sector | Request for Nominations and Election Notice | March 19, 2026

REQUEST FOR NOMINATIONS AND NOTICE OF ELECTION OF REPRESENTATIVE OF THE LOW-INCOME TO DANIEL BOONE COMMUNITY ACTION AGENCY, INC. BOARD OF DIRECTORS 

Daniel Boone Community Action Agency, Inc. is soliciting nominations for a Laurel County low-income representative to serve on its Board of Directors. The low-income representative must reside in Laurel County at the time of election and for the duration of their term on the board. 

Please submit nominations to the Daniel Boone Community Action Agency Laurel County Office located at 188 Dog Patch Trading Center, London, KY 40741. Nominations must be received by 4:30 p.m. (EST), Monday, April 6, 2026. To request a nomination form, contact Robin Whitaker at (606) 598-5127. All nominations received by the deadline will be placed on the ballot. 

An election will be held Monday, April 20, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (EST) at the Daniel Boone Community Action Agency Laurel County Office located at 188 Dog Patch Trading Center, London, KY 40741. 

Voters must: be a Laurel County resident, must meet the Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) Federal Poverty Guidelines, and be 18 years of age or older. 

The nominee receiving the most votes will serve until the term expires. Election results will be submitted to the Board Chairman.
