About CSBG

The Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) helps individuals and families with low incomes achieve greater stability and self-sufficiency. As the core funding source for Daniel Boone Community Action Agency, CSBG supports a wide range of programs and services that address local needs and improve quality of life throughout our communities.

CSBG serves eligible residents in Clay, Jackson, Laurel, and Rockcastle Counties.

How CSBG Helps

CSBG funding supports services that may include:

  • Emergency assistance for eligible households
  • Housing stability and homelessness prevention
  • Employment and career services
  • Education and skills development
  • Family support and resource referrals
  • Community partnerships that strengthen local services

Services available may vary based on funding and individual eligibility.
