LIHEAP Spring Subsidy Starts Soon | April 13, 2026
Need help with cooling bills this spring? DBCAA’s LIHEAP Spring Subsidy program begins Monday, April 20th, 2026 and runs through Friday, May 22nd, 2026 or until funds run out (whichever comes first).
- All applicants must have a household income at or below 150% of the federal poverty level.
- A disconnect notice or 10 days or less of prepaid electric is NOT required.
DBCAA’s LIHEAP program applies to residents in either Clay, Jackson, Laurel, or Rockcastle Counties. (If you live outside of this service area, please contact your local community action agency for LIHEAP scheduling assistance.)
